You may even want to check out an antique auction. In the evening you can enjoy the cuisine of many of our award winning chefs. A leisurely dinner can be the perfect end to a fun filled day in Highlands. Culturally, the Highlands Playhouse will be presenting live theater beginning in June. The Highlands Cashiers Chamber Music Festival gets underway in July. The Instant Theater Company presents different performances throughout the summer. The Center for Life Enrichment is offering varied classes. You could attend the Zahner Conservation Lecture Series. The Highlands Historical Society will have their Tour of Homes as well as their Walk in the Park. The Bascom-Louise Garden Tour will be a big attraction to many. Historically, the Highlands Inn is celebrating its 125th anniversary. The Highlands Historical Museum is slated to open and you may want to view the Museum for Cut and Engraved Glass while you are here.
